Francesca is a medical student in the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology (HST) Program. She completed her master’s degree in Computer Science and bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Computation at Stanford University, where she focused on developing minimally invasive interfaces for optogenetics. In Dr. Elizabeth Rossin’s lab, Francesca is combining machine learning with imaging and genomic data to study the genetic basis of retinal and choroidal disorders.
