Biography

Christine Pang studied Biology at New York University and graduated in May 2023. During her undergrad career, she worked as a summer intern in the Central Laboratory in the Guangzhou Women and Children’s Medical Center and completed a project focusing on Hesperidin’s effect on hepatocellular carcinoma cells (HePG-2). She also volunteered at NYU Langone as a research assistant in both the Cardiology department and the Ophthalmology department. She joined Dr. Mengyu Wang’s Lab in June 2022. Under Dr. Wang’s guidance, she utilized extensive research and coding skills to perform analysis on 200,000+ 24-2 visual field test data. Now she is working on projects studying different demographic parameter’s impact on glaucoma patients’ visual field loss.
