Dr. Romy Bejjani
Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Mass Eye and Ear
Romy moved to Boston in fall of 2022 to pursue a research fellowship at Mass Eye and Ear under the mentorship of Dr. Elizabeth Rossin. Her research with Dr. Rossin is mainly focused on the long-term visual outcomes of photodynamic therapy in patients with central serous chorioretinopathy, in collaboration with the IRIS registry. Romy is also involved in the creation of a tissue repsoitory of epiretinal membranes and proliferative vitreoretinopathy membranes of patients at Mass Eye and Ear that are subsequently used for single nucleotide polymorphism analysis, RNA extraction and cell culture placed within animal models.
